Changing series order in a chart legend
Posted by Klos on February 14, 2001 12:44 PM
Seems to me older versions of Excel allowed you to change the order of your series in the legend of a chart. A dialog box came up in which you selected a legend item, then you chose "move up/down",to rearrange the order of your series.
Does anyone know if this function is still available in Excel 97 ? I can't find it.

Hi klos
It's still there I promise! Right click on your Data Series and select "format Data Series" now click "series order". There's it is!
Hope this helps

1. Right-click on your chart's series and choose
Format Data Series...
2. Take a look at the Series Order tab.

Yea, I had a bout of tunnel vision and didn't notice that you had already responded.
