can you create a break in a chart scale?

Posted by sean on March 15, 2001 9:46 AM
hi there,

I have created a chart of columns representing lengths. One column goes up to 450 on the y-axis. The rest are between 0-59. Can you create a scale break on the y-axis to accomodate this rather than having the lone column stick out like a sore thumb?

thanks

sean

Of course, depending on the nature of your data
you may be able to use a data transformation
such as converting your values to logarithms.
