How do I save a chart as a html file using a macro?

I have built a chart using a macro and the workbook has the chart and a worksheet with the original data in it. At the moment I save the chart as a picture to an empty workbook so the links are broken. I need the code to save the chart (just the chart and not the data) as a html file (I note that the picture can't be saved as a html file as the wizard won't let me). I have had a go and got files full of gobbledigook, so any help would be great?
