Does anyone know how to graph two series as line graphs and as a part of the grpah, put the differences of the series as a bar chart at the base of the chart?

What I have done in the past is to overlap two separate charts on top of each other. It takes a little finesse, but it will do what you are trying to accomplish.

if you can add a column to your worksheet, you could...

make a third series that is the difference between the first two. Start the chart wizard, select line type graph, select the three series, and click finish. Then select the third series (the "difference" series) go Chart|chart types and change it from "line" to "column". Click "finish".
