Accessing trendline data from charts ie equation and r-squared

Is there any way of extracting the fitted trendline equation and r squared value from a chart?

After you start the graph wizard, tell it to plot the data without a trend line. Select the graph, then click on "chart" then "add trendline" and on the second tab over "options" click the checkbox to show the equation in the chart. You can treat the formula as regular text (cut and paste).
