How to unlink Excel graphs from the source data?

I have created a series of graphs that point to ( link) to source data.
These graphs take a lot of memory.
The problem is magnified when I try to consolidate a few files
into one workbook, these links are still present (pointing to temporary file on hard drive).
To consolidate into one file I copy worksheets with graphs, one by one, into
the final file.
In the end , the final consolidated file is very large and not easy to
manipulate( modify,update, print etc.)

Any solution?
Thanks

If you don't need to update the graphs again, try copying the graphs and pasting them into a drawing program such as Paintshop Pro etc. Save the graph as a .gif, then paste it back into a spreadsheet for displaying. No more troubles with links.

Any help?
