Plotting hh:mm on x-axis of chart

Hi,
I have a set of hh:mm to be plotted and they are fine if the time is within a day. But if it overflows into the next day i.e. from 23:59 and on to 00:00 the next day, then the data is plotted first with the next day's data and followed by the earlier data in the first day. Anyone got an idea how to make excel plot the data in the first day followed by the second day's data?

I am using a scatter plot of the data.

As I see it you have 2 choices. First, you can
use a date/time value rather than just a time
value. Second, you can switch to a Line Chart
type (and set the line pattern to none). If you
choose the latter approach you'll need to include
all of the category values that you want to
appear on the x-axis in your cell range.
