3D Pie charts in Excel
Posted by Colin Sanderson on October 23, 2001 5:25 PM
I am trying to create a 3D pie chart in excel with a second dimension which controls the height of each segment of the pie. Why you might ask... I want to compare turnover between different divisions which are shown as pie segments with the profit for each division indicated by the height of the pie segment.
Is what I am trying to achieve possible in Excel 2000, or do you know of an add-in that I could use.

No. That wouldn't be a possible application of
the Pie Chart Type in any version of Excel.
Consider using an appropriate combination chart
(e.g., Line - Column) to communicate your findings.
