Change the chart backgroung or curve colour

Dear Sir,
Could you tell me if it's possible to change the chart curve color when it pass a known high or low limit. Or,how can I split the chart background in intervals colored in different ways?

You can do this manually by selecting the line on the chart (data series). Then select the data point on that data series (by single clicking on the line or bar etc.) Then select format data point and you should know the rest.

Use a combination chart as described here...
