Posted by Gary on October 16, 2000 5:50 PM
I need to construct a chartshowing all four quadrants.
The values on the X-axis need to be from -700 to 700.
The values on the Y-axis need to be from -5000 to 5000
The actual series data will be coming from a DDE feed
and will polt itself in this field area.
Please help me out! Thanx, Gary

Constructing the chart shouldn't be too tough. Choose Chart from the Insert menu. When it asks what type, choose XY Scatter. When it asks for your data, select the Series tab and press Add. Enter the location of your X and Y values (or where your data will be--it doesn't matter if the data isn't there yet) in the appropriate boxes. Finish the wizard with whatever options you prefer.

Once the chart has been created, right-click on the X-axis and select Format Axis from the shortcut menu. Select the Scale tab and enter your minimum and maximum values. Do the same for the Y-axis.

That should be all there is to it.
