comments and help fields

Can anyone tell me how to add a comment which appears when you click on a cell, not tied to the upper right corner with the typical red corner arrow?

Use Data - Validation and select the second Tab, "Input Message".

The only other way that I know how is to select Data -> Validation
select Input Message
Check Show input message when cell is selected
Then you can put in a Title and the Input message.

This will provide a pop up menu with the information that you inputted, every time the cell is selected. Hope this helps.
