Excluding in an advanced Filter
Posted by Melanie Swarner on October 22, 2001 5:51 AM
Aside from putting an AND condition in every statement of my criteria, how can I exclude certain rows, right off the top in Advanced Filter?
I have certain rows that I want to just get rid of because none of my criteria works on those rows because of an error in the system the data comes from.
I saw a post about this on this board, but I can't find it anywhere now.
Thanks!

Place an auto filter on all of your data and build a custom filter on the appropriate fields using the "does not equal" drop down.
Once the correct rows are displayed, you can copy and paste these on there own into a new worksheet.
Good luck!
