Excel drop down list without the arrow head on the right hand side

Hi, I want to create a drop down list in Excel. How can I do this without the arrow head appearing on the right hand side.

Hi,
You can have the drop-down with out arrow head by NOT checking the In-cell dropdown check box. This is below Ignore blank check box in data-validation-setting.
