Auto-Extract Rows based on filter results

Posted by Peter on August 30, 2001 2:59 AM
I am trying to automate the cutting and pasting of a number of rows from a table based on the results of a filter then calculate appropriate column totals.

Extracts will occur over time and accordingly the number of rows at any point is unknown as the table data will be in a state of flux.

Peter, if I understand your situation correctly, I have just completed a macro to do the same thing. I used the Filter-Advance Filter function with a dozen or so different criteria I set up, and used the "Copy to another location" option to paste the filtered rows to a range directly below my database.
