changing the same formula on multiple sheets
Posted by bob on February 14, 2001 12:37 PM
Hi
I have the same formula embedded in about 30 sheets and I need to modify it. Is there a way to make one universal change or do I have to do it sheet by sheet 30 times? Help.
Thanks.
Bob

Hi Bob
You should be able to use the Edit>Replace for this. Select your first sheet then holding down your shift key, select the last sheet. Or right click on a sheet name Tab and select "Select all sheets" then hold down your Ctrl key and select any sheets you don't want.
Go to Edit replace and type your formula in the "Find What" then type the new version in the "Replace with" click Match case and find entire cells only then click OK.
Now right click on the sheet name tab and select "Ungroup sheets"
