Automatic Updates message?
Posted by RoB on October 11, 2001 10:55 AM
I have a worksheet, which when opened, has a macro to open another worksheet. The first worksheet has cell values linked to the 2nd sheet. But when the first workbook opens, I get the message "The workbook you opened contains automatic links to information about another workbook..." etc. There is an option for yes and no. Is there a way to prevent this message from coming up and automatically select yes so it does update the cells without the user seeing the message?
thanks!

Select Tools, Options, Edit Tab and uncheck the Ask to update automatic links check box.
