Adding months to a date

Our organisation are gradually pating company with Corel and moving to MS Office. Getting to grips with Excel now means I'm missing a few functions. Right now I'm missing amnths (Add months)- what is the Excel equivalent?

Use =edate. This and many other useful functions will be available once the Analysis ToolPak add in is activated.
