Copying entire rows from sheet to sheet, depending on a list of names in the third sheet
Posted by Tone Plahtar on January 16, 2002 5:20 AM
I have a complete database (names, salaries, adresses,...)
and occasionally need to work on only a selection of it
(which is not a block)
I would like to copy the entire row from sheet1 to sheet3 depending on the list of names in sheet2

Would an AutoFilter might do the trick? Just filter your list for whatever name(s) interest you. Then, with the list filtered, go to Edit > GoTo > Special, select Visible cells only, hit OK, copy that selected dynaset, and paste it to the other sheet.
Any help?
