fill blank cells with specific value

is there a quick way i can fill all blank cells in a spreadsheet with a specific value? Thanks

Yes. Try Edit->GoTo->Special and select "blank". You should see all the blank cells in the used part of the active worksheet selected.
Enter the value you want and press Ctrl+Enter.
If you want to enter the value into blanks for the whole spreadsheet (all 65536x256 cells of it) make an entry in cell IV65536 first. It'll take a while though.
