Named Cells from other workbook
Posted by James on January 18, 2002 5:26 AM
Hi
I've copied some sheets from one workbook into another. The named cells are maintained and keeps wanting to update links to old file. I know I can delete the named cells one a time with Insert-Names-Delete, but there are a lot and was wondering if there was a faster way. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

You can do a find/replace
Go To edit
Replace
(For a named cell value from another workbook, look for the "! value and replace with a blank)
I know this answer is incomplete, but gotta run.

That was enough to put me in the right direction. Thanks.
