Cell range

Posted by Peter on June 20, 2001 7:41 AM
Is the a way to multiplky a range of cells containing unique values by a constant?
for example columns a thru f refer to months Jan thru Jun
rows 2 thru 6 refer to an item value. If I want to increase the item value by a constant, can I multiply all the individual cells in this range by this new constant.?
Seems there should be, but I may have missed the obviuos.
Thanks for your help
Peter

Yes, enter your constant into an unused cell, Copy
it, select your range, choose the Edit | Paste
Special... menu command pasting Values using the
Multiply operation.
