Error message on Excel startup
Posted by Tim Barber on February 15, 2002 10:25 AM
I'm getting an error message popup every time I start Excel, which says:
Visual Basic Run-Time error '13': Type mismatch
Any ideas what is causing this? Thanks.

Do you get the option to debug?

You more then likely have an addin in or workbook that is causing this problem.
As the debug is greyed out it is probably protected. Without been able to go into the project you cannot fix the problem.
If it is an addin then remove it from loading...
goto Tools > addins deselect the addin.

Common this one, delete/remove it I'm with Ivan, BTW get a new clean version if you must have the add in. [NT]
