Posted by mabaud on July 17, 2001 1:41 AM
Why do i get the following message when I try to insert a line:

"To prevent loss of data, Microsoft Excel cannot shift non-blank cells....

Try to delete...

Or you can move...."

What is the problem ?

You probably have data weatther that be True data
or a formated cell or a cell with something in it
@ or near the Row or column limits. Excel displays
this msg if you insert rows/cols that will cause
these cells to be placed over the row/col limit
Rows = 65536 / cols = 255.
Check your sheet for errant data or formating
near these limits.
