Collapsing grouped columns - "Cannot shift objects off the sheet" Error

Posted by Ross Petherick on July 31, 2001 8:41 AM
I have a LARGE spreadsheet with a lot of grouping on the columns, however I have run into problems in that if I try to view just at level 1, it gives the error "cannot shift objects off the sheet."

It then "collapses" as many groupings as it thinks it can, and gives up. The sheet I am running contains lots of sensitive data, which I want to be able hide away before I print, but easily access whenever I need to change it.

Any suggestions as to what is causing this, and if there is a bug fix to get round it.

R
