Cannot be accessed

Posted by Carla B. on July 21, 1999 2:41 PM
I created a spreadsheet with links to other spreadsheets. The main sheet is updated at least twice a week. When I try to open the sheet, I receive the error '<filename> cannot be accessed. The file may be read only. The file is not read only and no one else is attempting to access it. I can't open the file and have to restore it from a previous version. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is the file on a local area network and using NT
if so then you should perhaps put it on YOUR local drive, or load it in then save it straight
away back to the network drive. then try accessing it.
