Excel spreadsheet errors in frontpage

Posted by Matt on October 24, 2001 8:18 PM
This may be a little beyond normal scope of this msg board. I am publishing an excel spreadsheet using frontpage. I think there must still be some glitches in using excel spreadsheet viewed through an IE window: worst problem is that I have hyperlinks within my spreadsheet to make it easy to navigate. This works fine when the file is just opened in excel. However, on the web, every time a hyperlink is used a message pops up "This document has been modified. Do you want to save changes?
Yes: Saves your changes...
No:...
Cancel:...

This happens even though no changes have been made. Does anyone know how to avoid this without getting rid of the hyperlinks? Eternal gratitude for this one.

PLEASE! Excel Hyperlinks cause problem!

I need to have something like hyperlinks to enable users to navigate through their applicable parts of a large workbook, and I need to use Frontpage - but hyperlinks seem to screw up in Frontpage - Can anyone suggest a way around this problem? No one seems to be able to help!
