A fundamental problem!
Posted by Chris on October 25, 2001 7:21 AM
I have a file that when I try to open comes up with the following error:
"Too many cell formats"
When I click ok to the prompt the file closes down before I get chance to make any amendments to it.
I know how to resolve the cell formatting problem if I was able to get into the file, but I don't get chance to as the file closes down straight away.
Does anyone know how to force excel to open the file and keep it open?
Chris

The only thing I know of with that error, is an issue with McAfree virus scan. Do you use that product? Go to the web page below for more information and the fix. HTH
