Dr Watson with Modeless form workaround for Excel 97

Posted by Melanie Swarner on November 08, 2001 7:56 AM
I am using a workaround suggested by Mark O'Brien in a recent reply to one of my posts. It allows you to make a userform modeless in Excel 97. It's great, but I get a Dr. Watson error when I switch sheets while the form is up. Does anyone know anything about Dr Watson?

Or, I could design a workaround if I knew how to have VB wait for a cell to have something in it. Then I could tell it to switch programatically. Are there events for cells?

Thanks!

Dr Watson is an error reporting tool. What is probably happening is a memory conflict of some sort. Unfortunately I don't know what your form does, but I would think that the underlying code might be the problem. Come to think of it, even if I did know, I'd probably still be of no use!! :)
