Calculating times in hours and minutes in excess of 24:00

Say I wanted to add my hours worked thus:
Monday 8h30
Tuesday 9h00
Wednesday 12h30
Thursday 10h00
Friday 6h 30
And display my total as 46h30
How do I get excel to display a total in excess of 24h?

Format your cell as custom [h]:mm:ss
