CAN SEE A 0 IN THE BOX, BUT IT WON'T SHOW IN THE CELL

WHY CAN WE SEE THE '0' ON THE BOX ABOVE BUT WE CANNOT GET ANY 0.00 TO SHOW UP IN THE CELL ??


Not quite sure what you mean by "Box". What's the cell number format? [nt]

the cell is formatted as a number with 2 decimals but the cell is a blank, it will not allow me to change the cell so it will show the 0.00,you can only see 0 on the formula bar, why ??

If you select the cell and choose the Format | Cells...
menu command what do you see listed as the format
Category? If it's "Custom" what's in the
Type field?

Dear Kelly, u need to click on Tools > Options and under View > Window Options tick on show zero values. Hope that works out 4 u. Cheerio
