Aligning and inserting dots

Posted by Crystal Frust on July 26, 2001 3:50 PM
I am working on a financial report for my company. I have had
a difficult time trying to find a way to insert lines
made up of dots and then aligning them vertically down
the spreadsheet. PLEASE,fill me in.

Assuming you don't wish to use the draw feature, you can merge the cells in the column where you want your dotted line to be. Then, choose Format>Cells and on the alignment tab, change the alignment to 90 degrees. Adjust column width as needed.
