Cells with X shift to right 1 cell

Hi i have a worksheet with 2 colums of x "Col D&F"
after i make an entry in say C17 could it skip the
next cell with the X and be active in E17?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you unlock the cells where you want to enter data in Format>Cells>Protection and then protect the worksheet, you can use the TAB key to navigate between the unlocked cells, skipping the locked ones.
