Today's date

It's been awhile folks. How do I set a cell to always have today's date in it when that workbook is opened?

by formula =today() or =now() (nt)

Sorry for wasting your time. In reading the help files I thought that just returned the serial number. I didn't even try it first....a cardinal sin.

Never a waste of time. If the serial number does happen to pop up, you can always just change the format and it should "stick".
