combining cells

Hi...I'm trying to combine info. in two different cells into one cell (different from "merge" option) In other words, in column A, I have a list of suppliers, and in Column B, I have the contacts for each. I would one column to contain both pieces of info...anybody know a way to combine these cells into one? Thanks!
