I posted a message about calculating a running balance. Can someone PLEASE help me?

Michelle,

Do you over write each week, is that the problem ?
If you keep each week, it is possible to do an overall total for the month.

Michelle in regards to your question about a running balance it can be done. Enter your starting value in a cell (for this example A2) then enter the following formula in B2 =(a2+b2).
You will need to do the following to get this to work correctly. Go to Tools>Options>Calculation and turn on Iteration then set the maximum iterations to 1. From that point on as long as you enter the new weekly hours in A2 then B2 will automatically keep a running total of the hours. Change the cell references as necessary to fit your spreadsheet.
