Convert from Minutes to Hours & MinutesPosted by Bethany Daily on January 31, 2002 2:19 PM
I've got a number of minutes, say 2500 minutes. I want to be able to display the hours and minutes associated - 41:40.
I've dealt with this problem before, and it continues to vex me.
A good answer used to be on the excelformulaspage.com, but that no longer seems to be in action.

Assuming your cell actually has 2500 minutes (and not the number 2500), just custom format the cell to [h]:mm.
If you cell contains the number 2500, use:
and format [h]:mm
Hope this answers your question.
