Percentage comparison

What is the formula to get a percentage of two sales numbers?

As an example if B6 was 100 dollars and C6 was 80 dollars. D6 should read the difference was -%20.

Thanks for your help.

Chris

Lets these 2 cells be A1 and B1.

In C1 enter: ==AND(LEN(A1)=0,LEN(B1)=0)

I think weird things are going on with this board. The formula in D6 should read:

=(C6-B6)/B6

(and of cours format the cell as percentage)

Hope it helps,

Russell
