Assuming that you have Date (something similar) as column heading, insert 3 to 4 rows before your data.

In A1 enter: Date
In B1 enter: Date
In A2 enter: > date-1 [ all this as ordinary text ]
In B2 enter: &LT; date-2 [ all this as ordinary text ]

where date-2 > date-1

This defines the criterion range. The rest consists of activating Advanced Filter in an appropriate way.
