COPYING FORMULAS

I have a spreedsheet which has a number of formulae on each row. It is regularly updated by inserting new rows and I wondered if there is a way of automatically copying formulaes down to the next row so that you do not have to copy or drag down the formula.

Sounds like you want to set up a macro. I would highlight the cell where you want to insert the row. Then record into a macro all the actions you want. (I.e., insert the row, copy the formulae down, return to the cell you want to activate.) Then stop the macro. Just make sure the commands in the macro are relative and not absolute. You can also put a button on your toolbar, or on the spreadsheet, that will call the macro.
