opening .csv files

Posted by Sue on October 11, 2001 8:33 AM
help!
I exported a 18,000+ record query from Raisers Edge (donation database for non-profits) as a .csv file, then opened it in Excel 97 to edit and check. When I finished I saved as a .csv file again and closed it. Later I needed to edit further, and it wouldn't open. The message I got was - SYLK: file format is not valid.

The file name is deadno.csv
