"Dragging" formulae

Hi all,

back in Lotus, I used to be able to copy a formula across and down at the same time via dragging, but in Excel 97 it seems only draggable across *or* down and not both - am I missing something ?

Just Drag it down then select all the rows with the code and drag accross.
