KEEPING A CELL CONSTANT

I AM TRYING TO DO A SPREAD SHEET FORMULA WITH A CELL
BEING THE CONSTANT.
EX: B37/I9 THEN I COPY THE FORMULA FOR THE NEXT CELL
AND GOES B/38/I10 OF WHICH I WANT B37/I10. HOW DO
I KEEP THE B37 ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE FORMULA.

If you use $B$37/I9 and then copy down.

you can also fir "F4" after selecting the cell you want to remain constant. this will add the $ sign
