Data Tracking
Posted by Computerfreaks on February 11, 2002 1:58 AM
I have created an Excel database with the data tracking add-in, I then hoped to query it using the query wizard, however when I select the database as the source of the query it tells me there are no visible tables?????, I can't simply modify the database to have tables as it is autoformatted on creation and doesn't like being changed, any changes would mean I cannot add to the database using my template.
It strikes me as very stupid to nt allow a query to run from a database created in the same program!? i'm using office2000
Any help asap would be great, thanks

Please help!!!!!

When the message 'This source contains no visible tables' I assume you are then presented with the Query Wizard dialog box. Click on Options and check the System Tables checkbox. Each of the worksheets in your database will now be shown as a table.
Let me know if it doesn't work,
D

Thanks!!!!!!!
