Any idea to prevent copying Excel sheet from one machine to another

Posted by kris on July 11, 2001 9:40 PM
I have created Excel sheet for important calculations which I am going to install it on our main office but I don’t want to be copy the same from that machine to another in future. I cant give it password because it will be used by many persons.

Is any idea to prevent copying Excel sheet from one machine to another (Except Hardware lock).

Kris

do you have a net work if so don't install it on any machine use the share workbook function and then you can strict sertion thing or take way the abilties of user to perform certion functions. That is one idea only have it on your machine and share the folder on the net work I'm sure that someone has a better idea?

Use Ctrl-f on this BB and its Ark's. Use the key word "Password" much has been written on password protection before, much of it by me. JSW
