Column Headers have numbers

My column headers have changed from letters to numbers. It's happening in anumber of sheets I open.

Any ideas how to change it back?

Tools/Options/General/ uncheck R1C1 reference style.

Activate Tools|Options, deactivate R1C1 reference style on the General tab (on the Mac, activate Edit|preferences).
