adding percentage to whole sheet

Posted by Paul Zwierzanski on September 09, 2001 10:37 PM
Hi there

Can anyone explain to me how I can apply a percentage to a whole
page? I get price lists sent to me in my work and I wish
to add a percentage to the sheets figures to give me a selling
price.

It would save me much work to be able to do this.
Appreciate any tips

Thanks

Paul

i think the following will do what you want. select an empty cell and enter the percentage you want, plus one. for example if you want a twenty percent increase enter 1.2. then select this cell, copy, select the cells you want to add the percentage to, do a paste special|multiply.
