Adding a password to a splase screen???

i have created a splash screen in my workbook. What i like
to do is after the user closed the splash screen.a dialog
box will appear and asking for password.if they don't know the
password.they can't open the workbook.thanks hope
you guys can help me

Must the password prompt appear AFTER the splash screen? If you protect the workbook with a password, Excel should prompt for its password when it's being opened, before the splash screen appears.

yes..mr John.. i want the password appear after the splash screen and not before the splash screen.can someone teach me or write down some kind of code.thanks

Would it be possible to have one workbook display
the splash screen, then open a second (protected)
notebook?

...to have a first workbook that contains only the splash screen and some kind of trigger (maybe a macro assigned to a button) to open another workbook that is protected by a password and contains your worksheet(s). Very clever!
