Accumlative values

Posted by Roger Massey on November 16, 2001 5:58 AM
As a novice excel user I was very proud when I managed to add a column. Now I want to add cumulative values. I'm sure that it's very simple, but the paperclip won't tell me!

PLEASE HELP ME

Cumulative values of what? Give us an idea of what you are trying to sum and in what columns/rows.

Oh, there's your problem... You should be using
"The Genius". : )

Suppose cells A1:A5 contains {10;20;30;40;50}.
Enter the formula, =SUM($A$1:A1), in cell B1
and copy down to cell. B5.
