Hyperlink w/Excel 97

How do you get the hyperlink function to link to a URL and not close the current workbook?

Don't hold me to this, okay?
Open Windows explorer.
Hit Tools-Folder options.
Click on file types tab.
Choose Excel Worksheet, hit Edit button.
At the bottom: I forget what the checkbox says, but basically you want to browse in a new window.
