HYPERLINK

Posted by Brian on December 01, 2001 2:13 PM
Can the following be done with a HYPERLINK?

Sheet 1 contains days in a calendar.
Sheet 2 contains people on vacation per day in a range.
Can I enter a hyperlink in cell Dec. 1st on sheet 1 and it automatically takes me to a range in sheet 2 containing all people on vacation on Dec. 1st?

You need to name the target cell to form a bookmark.
highlight the cell. Its address appears in the top left hand corner. Click on this and you can edit the address and change it to say Dec1. Press enter. You can now set up your hyperlink from the calender page.
This is all covered in Help under hyperlink to a specific site on a worksheet (or similar)

Lewis
